I am still here/Military Ball Photos, anyone?

This is why I got the house decorated a week or two before Thanksgiving--I knew things were going to get very busy, and they have.

In fact, I don't have time today to come up with much of substance but there's this...

Military ball.  E wanted the 'Pretty Woman dress,' but you try to find that dress circa 2008.  I dare ya.  This is what we came up with instead.  And check out C---very Keanu Reaves-esque, dapper and handsome, yes?  He has quite a lovely smile and was very sweet.  They were adorable.

Awww, sisters. Not visible in this photo:  The ladies sitting around my living room.  Yes, we had to get red gown girl ready in the middle of a party.  But it was fun, and they all helped. My boss even did her hair!

This is the week things should be getting somewhat back to normal.  I hope. We'll see. Oh and guess what's happening in March?  You will never guess so here is a hint...kind of a big hint...kind of like if you don't get it from this, then you are hopeless...

We have extremely excellent seats that I got up early for yesterday morning.  They are not floor seats, but the only floor seats I would really want would be in the first two or three rows and there is no way I am paying $400 per ticket for that nonsense.  So, short of front row center, we have great seats.  Best concert I've ever seen in my life.  Not that I've seen a lot.

So that's all I have.  Time to run.  I will update with photos of my journal but I am behind on that, too.  Next week, I will have time to breathe and get things back to normal.  I hope!  Have a good Sunday!
