Quick page about Paige ha! I was running up against the deadline this time because I went to Nashville and retrieve her twin on the spur of the moment--I need to find a few more candid shots of her when she was younger to put in the "early days" envelope, but that one of her in the pumpkin patch was sitting out in my basket and I thought it was so cute with the ones of her at 17 and just-turned-18!

What's next? My ode to The West Wing
This is a layout about how I name our pets. The prompt for today's layout was to use a list, so I made a list of characters from the West Wing, including the pets we have already named for WW characters (Leo, Sam and Charlie, and Abbey before there was a West Wing). This was probably my favorite prompt ever and maybe my favorite layout. "What's next?" is what the president on the show (played by Martin Sheen) says.

Tybee Shots
Some random snapshots from our vacation last year. Journaling is about all the nothing we did and how great it was! I originally intended the "tybee shots" page to go on the right, but I think I like it better this way. We'll see...

Afraid to Look
This one is about how we watched this little bird build a nest on top of our kitchen windows on the front porch. We still haven't checked out the nest and it's been almost a year. I guess we probably should but now it's getting ready to be spring again and I'm kind of hoping the bird comes back and does its thing again!

Birthday Bash
Forgot to post this one yesterday. The prompt for yesterday was to deliberately put a mistake into the layout. Well, it wasn't deliberate exactly, but there are some definite flaws in this one. I didn't even try to fix them. Who cares? I loved the photos we took at this party. Such a fun event with tons of people. I need to do another page to include more of the photos, but they have children in them and I don't really think it's cool to put photos of other people's children on the internet without asking, right?
We need to do this again. Only...I think we're gonna need a bigger room. Heh.

Colleen's Baby Shower
This one was just pure fun. Back to my old standard, plain kraft cardstock along with lots of PINK. The little birds are from a sheet of patterned paper I had that I couldn't figure out what to do with. The journaling card is from the same sheet of paper. Lots going on with all the photos, so I tried to keep things happy but a little tone-on-tone, for the most part.

Awwww. I only had about 400 shots like these to choose from when picking photos to print a couple weeks ago (and about 40 prints to choose from when doing this layout!). They really had fun, I think. You can see it on their faces.

Terrible photo of a layout with awesome photos on it! The blue envelope sticking out on the upper left has a hidden journaling tag in it. The white stuff in the bottom right is just little bits of paper the cat chewed up that got in the layout when I put it down to take a photo and didn't notice. Sometimes I can't believe I ever take decent photos!
